OSS Menu Monday-Slap Yo Momma Spaghetti Casserole

YUM! OSS Menu Monday-Slap Yo Momma Spaghetti Casserole is about to change your life! If you have never tried this, it is time my friends. Our family goes bonkers over this recipe (as do I). It is so full of flavor and it truly takes spaghetti to a whole new level.

I don’t know about you, but spaghetti was a staple in our home. I am sure it was because it was an easy and inexpensive dish that fed a lot of people. I have made it for many years in our home as a mom of 4 but, I knew I needed to change it up some because people were getting tired of it. So, I decided to put it in to casserole form and see what happened. Well, it became a hit!

Brown the ground beef, garlic and onion. Drain grease, then add spaghetti sauce, Prego traditional is my favorite but the store was out of stock.

Cook spaghetti, add 2/3 cup sauce and butter, stir and then pour 1/2 of spaghetti in bottom of 9×13 dish.

In separate bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese.

Spread mixture over top of noodles.

Add remaining noodles.

Add meat sauce and smooth over noodles.

Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
