OSS Menu Monday-Shepherd’s Pie

| |

Well hello you lovely people! I am super excited to share my recipe today for OSS Menu Monday-Shepherd’s Pie is the bomb.com Growing up, this was one of my very favorite recipes my mom would make. Seriously y’all, if I am on my death bed, this is what I’m asking for (and white bread).LOL The perfect combination of seasoned beef and mashed potatoes, you can’t go wrong. Now, my Mom made this meal the hard way but I am going to share the easy way with you. YOU.ARE.WELCOME!!!

Back when I was growing up, we didn’t have the luxury of Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes. Y’all, these taste exactly like my Mom used to make but without all the hassle of peeling, cutting, boiling and mashing the potatoes. So, for us busy Moms, this is a lifesaver.

Alright, let’s get started and be prepared, this recipe is so stinking easy! Again, you are welcome my friend. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. I spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray. Then, I brown 2 lbs of ground beef. I season my ground beef heavily with black pepper while it’s browning. Once the beef is brown, I drain it. I spread one family size container of mashed potatoes in the greased 9×13 pan. I spread the beef mixture over the top of the mashed potatoes. I use another family sized mashed potatoes to top the beef. Once it is all layered, I bake in the oven on 350 for about 20 minutes. I top with shredded cheese and serve. VIOLA!!!
