Loaded Tater Tot Kabobs

|

Have you ever wanted to step up your appetizer game? I made these super yummy loaded tater tot kabobs for the super bowl and they were a huge hit! And the best part, they are so easy to make and you can alter them to fit your families taste.

I wanted to make these kabobs super simple so I only added bacon bits, cheese, green onion and Tony Chachere seasoning. Which, let me say, if Tony Chachere’s seasoning is not in your pantry, you need to get it, like ASAP! Seriously y’all, I use this on almost every single thing I make. I put it in our pot of beans, we use it on chicken, steaks, pizzas…you name it. It adds the perfect amount of spice!

I started with a bag of frozen tater tots and cooked them according to the directions on the bag.

Once they were cooked, I waited a few minutes for them to cool down and then I placed them on the skewers. I put 6 tots on my skewers but you can do anywhere from 5-7.

Then, I added the cheese, bacon bits and onions on top. I put them back in the oven until they were bubbly. YUM!

You will want to make these all the time if your family is anything like mine. They absolutely loved them! I made mine with a reduced fat cheese so they didn’t get as gooey as normal but they were still just as yummy.
